PHOTOFAIRS has collaborated with digital artwork platform Daata to bring you an exciting curated selection of video art from now to 11 October. Fast becoming the leading platform for digital video artwork and the moving image genre, Daata offers original, online works by an ever-growing portfolio of contemporary artists.
As well as commissioning original, digital artworks by established and emerging artists, Daata invites its users to stream or download high quality digital artworks on any device. Users can also easily build, curate and display their own portfolio without the additional costs of space, storage and security.
Aligning with our focus on discovering innovative photo-based art in Asia Pacific, Daata has an impressive number of Chinese artists using its platform. Over the next few weeks we’ll be promoting work created in 2020 by artists Cheng Xinhao (Tabula Rasa, Beijing & London; Feng Bingyi (A Thousand Plateaus, Chengdu); Liang Yue (ShanghART Gallery, Shanghai, Beijing & Singapore); Lin Yuqi (ShanghART Gallery, Shanghai, Beijing & Singapore); Liang-Hsuan Chen & Musquiqui Chihying (Asia Art Center, Shanghai, Beijing & Taipei); Pat Flynn (University of Salford Art Collection, Salford); Yang Yuanyuan (AIKE, Shanghai) and Zheng Yuan (MadeIn Gallery, Shanghai). A sneak preview of the works will be available on our Instagram and WeChat channels.
