Located on Manhattan’s West Side, the Javits Center is a premiere events venue designed by architect James Ingo Freed of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. With one of the largest glass ceilings in the city, the space frame structure was constructed from 1980 to 1986 and was named to honor the legendary Jacob Javits, the United States Senator for New York.
