It mainly promotes the artworks of western China and the photographic works of Chinese documentary directors. The artists represented are Chu Bingchao, Cong Feng, Liu Jinxun, Li Peifeng, Su Peng, Wang Bing, Zhang Yunfeng.
These works show the artist's thoughts and feelings during the period of forced and voluntary home isolation enforced because of the pandemic COVID-19. Zhang Yunfeng sees the photographic paper as a means of communication with the outside world.
The images form a metaphor for the struggle between human beings and diseases. This series is an example of our current situation, discussing monitoring, isolation, stranger world, viruses, houses, and future exploration.
