Conversations | PHOTOFAIRS



The Conversations program offers visitors and galleries the opportunity to engage with an extensive public talks and events program, with each event intended to further explore and celebrate the local and international fine art photography market and celebrate artists, institutions and collectors from across the Asia Pacific region. 

Artists and art world experts lead a dynamic program of talks and debates that examine key themes and ideas seen through the Fair. The 2019 program included leading collectors WEIXING ZHONG (Founder, Chengdu Contemporary Image Museum, Chengdu) and NI LU (Curator, X-MUSEUM) alongside art world experts CLAIRE SHEA (Para-Site, Hong Kong) and YING KOWK (independent Curator) as well as artists CHEN WEICORY ARCANGEL and NOEMIE GOUDAL.

The Relationship Between Image and Technology Development

Dynamic artist duo, Sun Yuan & Peng Yu (Galleria Continua) discuss the influence of technology on contemporary art with Jiao Jing Jia (Collector) and Zoe Zhang (Deputy Director, HOW Art Museum) and Qi Chao (Editor in Chief, Bazaar Art China).
